Two men in the tiny town of Cotacachi

Photos from my downhill mountain bike ride. For $3 I was given a ride in the back of a pickup truck, all the way to 4,356m and the location of the parking lot for Cotopaxi. I then biked, mostly downhill for 44 minutes (descending ~756m) to the level field of the National Park and that's when I noticed the wild horses. I followed them for 3-4 hrs, taking pictures of them and pretending that I wasn't stalking them, while they pretended to not notice me. I ended the day by taking the back roads past Sincholagua, to Pedegral and the Secret Garden.
